This week's adventures are all about drawing connections between the diverse living and non-living things that call Vermont home. We will discover who lives in the habitats surrounding the museum with guided explorations of streams, ponds, woodlands and meadows. During our excursions we’ll practice observing, teambuilding, reflecting, and playing to make lasting memories enjoying the splendors of nature.

This week of camp will draw on the bountiful beauty found in nature to inspire us as we blend practices of art and science. The architectural mastery of animals like the beaver, nest–building birds, and weaving spiders will guide our creations. The textures and shapes of trees and plants will help us create patterns, prints and poems. The art of observation will allow us to appreciate whole landscapes and minute details. The games, activities, challenges and crafts are all about connecting with nature to inspire creative whimsy throughout this camp week.
